Patience can persuade a prince, and soft speech can break bones.
Proverbs 25.15

... Fan into flames the spiritual gifts God gave you.
2 Timothy 1.6

These two verses in particular have been at the forefront of my mind as of late. The Lord is bringing a lot of things within me to the surface lately, and these two essentially hit the nail on the head for two main things that He has brought directly in front of me.

Patience-
And not so much that my motive behind learning to have this trait literally cloak me is that I'm trying to persuade anyone or anything, but it's the power behind that meaning is outstanding. "Persuade a prince and break bones.." how powerful. I strive to be gentle in all arenas of my life, simply because I believe it to be something that God created intrinsically within me, so I love having this reassurance brought before my eyes.

Spiritual gifts-
The best way I can place this into words is through a Harry Potter analogy: As young wizards, these children know that there is something different about them and that they have "powers," but they don't exactly know how to control them or use them properly. So they have to fine tune them and learn how to use them to their full advantage. Similarly, I believe we need to discover our spiritual gifts, and then exercise them so that we can use them to our/God's full advantage.
